Dr. Anselin is one of the key figures in the development of the field of spatial econometrics.  He and his collaborators have developed some of the most widely used algorithms and software (such as Geoda) for examining statistical associations in space. In his talk, Dr. Anselin will review recent progress on software for spatial econometrics developed at the GeoDa Center at Arizona State University.
