The candidate will collaborate with a distributed team of other developers, cartographers, data engineers, and UI/UX designers.
Details:
- Develop new plugins and extend core functionality for NPMap.js, the JavaScript mapping framework of the NPS
- Produce interface elements as defined in partnership with cartographers and UI/UX designers
- Use the mapping framework to create custom web maps for parks and programs
- Test builds and deploys validated code to production servers
- Provide timely and courteous user support for the mapping framework, tracking down and resolving issues as needed
