Two Resource Assistant positions (internships, but with path to permanent federal jobs), in the Forest Service, doing environmental justice mapping. These would be a great way to shape the environmental justice program in the Forest Service. Note that the pay rate at the top doesn’t include a $1000/month housing stipend. **Junior:** The Office of Sustainability and Climate is seeking someone with a BS degree in natural sciences (forestry, biology, environmental sciences, wildlife, fisheries, geography, land resources, ecology, hydrology, environmental management, etc.) along with experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and a GIS certificate. This position will assist us with developing maps to support work in Environmental Justice and firesheds and to deliver climate change information, tools, and information to Forest Service specialists, managers, and the public.
