PhD Graduate Assistantship

PhD student for a NASA funded research project. The graduate student will work with Dr. Soe W. Myint from the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University and collaborators from the city of Phoenix on urban environmental sustainability.

We expect that the new graduate student will join the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning in Fall 2020. An MA or MS in geography, GIScience, remote sensing, Earth system science, engineering, or a related field is required. Experience in computer programming, machine learning/deep learning, big geospatial data analysis, or large data science using remote sensing and socioeconomic data is preferred. Financial support will be a 2 year research assistantship with summer salaries and a 2 year teaching assistantship. Applicants should contact Dr. Soe W.
