- The Human Reach, chapter one of the series, featuring web scenes, maps, and animations showing population density, urbanization, Earth at night, networks, and human footprint https://storymaps.esri.com/stories/2018/anthropocene/1-human-reach.html
- The Human Reach Atlas, featuring 2D web maps of each theme with links to item pages and source information. https://storymaps.esri.com/stories/2018/anthropocene-atlas/1-human-reach.html Undersea cables, shipping routes, changes in city population, and other core solid content. Here is where all of you GIS folks can get really excited, because every one of these maps features a “view layer in ArcGIS Online” where you can do just that. Once in ArcGIS Online, you can add more data layers, symbolize, classify, filter, do analysis, create your own story maps, and more, and you could bring the layers into Pro for even further analysis.
Future installments will feature biodiversity, land, freshwater, oceans, climate, and taking action.
