Yosemite GIS Specialist GS9/11 Vacancy Announcement 8/21/2017

Yosemite National Park will have a vacancy announcement for the GIS Specialist Interdisciplinary GS-9/11 (0150, 0401, 1301) beginning next Monday, August 21st at https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/477015100

Responsibilities:

  • Development, management, coordination, and implementation of the Geographic Information System (GIS) for the park.
  • Design, develop, and manage GIS databases and data base management system, Manage and integrate a variety of GIS and data base management software, implement data documentation procedures and distribution.
  • Enhance park-wide capability and provide leadership, training, and instruction to staff in the use of GIS applications and related technology.
