Position Summary
The GIS Data Analyst, Climate/Global Change will apply advanced skills in data management, geoprocessing, spatial analysis, processing of global change and climate data, and map design to support regional, national, and hemispheric bird conservation initiatives. This position will support Audubon Science’s conservation and climate science groups by assembling relevant spatial datasets, conducting spatial analyses including ecological risk assessments and spatial prioritizations, and generating spatial data products such as geodatabases and maps. This position will also aid in data visualization using tools such as ESRI or Tableau webmapping applications and storymaps, and dashboards. The work will involve close collaboration within both the conservation science and climate science groups and communication with internal and external Audubon partners.
