Brief Description of Job:

Under the general direction of the Research Manager II, Plant Data Analysis Services (PDAS) Unit, the Research Analyst II is responsible for performing a variety of technical, analytical, research and statistical duties that assist pest prevention management in programmatic planning and development of division policies. The position is responsible for the submission of PDAS reports including maps used to monitor the environmental presence and impact of invasive species throughout the state and to react when necessary. The incumbent will act as the PDAS liaison for the European Grapevine Moth and Asian Citrus Psyllid projects and for GIS requirements. The incumbent works independently and in conjunction with management and typically performs the most difficult and sensitive tasks.
