Job Description: The Research Scientist I (step 4) will provide science coordination support and interface with an international hub, while working as part of the SERVIR Science Coordination Office.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Earth Science or an equivalent field/9 months of full-time related work experience/must have a background in Earth Science and have a demonstrated understanding of environmental concerns and needs in developing regions/must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and have experience in the capacity building processes involving regional thematic experts/must have knowledge of GIS, satellite image processing, remote sensing, programming, and statistics software/experiencing managing technical contacts and engaging international partners/fluency in written and spoken French is required.
